There is a sheltered bay known, as the ‘Paddling Area’ is safe from boat traffic.
There are no Lifeguards in Lough Key.
Lough key comes alive every summer with people using the lake for water skiing and general good fun. The lake is sheltered from strong winds and has many calm bays for beginners. Through prior booking we can provide water skiing, hydrosliding, wake boarding lessons for the complete beginner or entertain an accomplished skier.
