There is a sheltered bay known, as the 'Paddling Area' is safe from boat traffic. Two qualified Lifeguards patrol the lake during the high peak season.

Water-skiing

Lough key comes alive every summer with people using the lake for water skiing and general good fun. The lake is sheltered from strong winds and has many calm bays for beginners. Through prior booking we can provide water skiing, hydrosliding, wake boarding lessons for the complete beginner or entertain an accomplished skier.

Windsurfing

Lough Key under the right weather conditions can be a unique wind surfing experience. We can arrange lessons but it is necessary to book in advance.

Kayaking & Canoeing
