Amenities Lough Key & Boyle
Included in the Lough Key Park's amenities are an observation tower, Icehouse, Wishing chair, Fairy Bridge and underground tunnels.
The immense range of habitats encourages a huge diversity of wildlife. Summer visitors including cuckoo, tern, willow warbler, whitethroat and blackcap increase the resident bird population. Also located near by are two 9-hole golf courses.

Boyle Abbey
Magnificent restored ruins of the Cistercian abbey founded by Maurice O'Duffy in 1161.The Abbey is a transitional creation, bridging the Romanesque and Gothic periods. This can be seen in the juxta-position of a row of rounded arches on one side of the nave and one of pointed arches on the other.
King House
King House was the 18th century seat of the Kings, later Earls of Kingston, and was built for Sir Henry King, MP on the site of an earlier house, which was destroyed by fire. The family moved to Rockingham (now Lough Key Forest Park). The house now contains a series of exhibitions.
